Club Chuck It inspires not only athletic achievement, but also love for the sport. What better way to help kids form bonds and have fun than to hold special events throughout the year. From day trips to banquets, hard work will be rewarded with many enjoyable activities.
For those Club Chuck Iters getting an early start on their spring season throwing, the fall season will have plenty of events to keep kids motivated. One Saturday of the fall season will be dedicated to a team day trip. All athletes in the club are invited regardless of their participation in the fall. Athletes have the option to vote on where they would like to take the team for a day of fun and camaraderie. Day trip options include theme parks, river-rafting or a pleasant day at the beach. On the last Friday of each month, athletes are encouraged to dress up in Club Chuck It colors as they compete against each other in inter squad meets. On the practice day closest to Halloween, athletes are encouraged to dress up in costumes. It certainly makes for fun pictures as seen in the picture gallery.
To kick off the spring season, join Club Chuck It for the grand opening barbecue. After the first National Training Center meet, Club Chuck It coaches and faculty will host an on-site barbecue dinner. Following in tradition, Club Chuck It will also host an annual closing banquet to celebrate the year’s achievements and memories when the spring/summer season is over. The banquet will take place at a local restaurant and will be sponsored by Club Chuck It for all family members of Club Chuck It athletes. Members are encouraged to bring photographs, medals, and great spirit as Coach Judge gives a formal speech closing one year and opening another.
Don’t be surprised when Coach Larry Judge randomly brings treats and prizes to practice!
